Anania & Associates Investments (AAI) is a successful growth oriented investment fund, leveraging the experience of its partners and stakeholders. AAI has been investing in businesses in Maine since 2008. Unlike most private equity firms, AAI has no fund life restrictions given our long term view towards partnering with and growing our portfolio companies. AAI professionals are committed to partnering with management teams and view that process as the single most important element of the future success of the investment. The majority of early investments and teams are still held in the Fund today even after years of sustained growth.
AAI will usually purchase a majority equity stake (>55%) in the company while offering existing and/or proven management equity positions and employment. However, in the absence of appropriate in-house management candidates (e.g. an owner retiring), AAI will team up with industry specialists or entrepreneurial investors to complete the acquisition.
AAI’s large cross functional team provides active, on going financial, management, project management, operations, sales and marketing support to assist the management in both the daily operations as well as enhancing the long-term value of the company.
